Sticking to the nose:
1- First, the appropriate length of glue that is placed on your nose. And separate until the junction of the nose continues to the cheek.
As you move towards the tip of the nose, you should cut the length of the glue. Match it to the width of the area, which will naturally be higher at the bottom of the nose than at the top.
As you can see in the figure below, you have to put the glue on the bridge of the nose before. Pull it out as far as possible from both sides.
2- Then lower the glue in the same position. To be in contact with the bridge of the nose, but do not stick it to the sides yet. Make sure that the glue is pulled out firmly on the skin of the bridge and then lower it around. .
3- When you put the first piece of glue in this way, cut the second piece and while one third to half of it is on the first piece. Use the same glue carefully at the bottom of the first glue. Continue doing this until just behind the tip of the nose.
4 - At the end of two pieces of glue longer than the length of the nose - from the area parallel to the junction of the two eyes to the tip of the nose- Cut and place on the sides of the nose on both sides and bring them closer together under the tip of the nose.
These two pieces, which are U-shaped after joining . It should not cover the nostrils and should not be so tight that it changes the shape of the tip of the nose.
The purpose of this u-shaped piece is to maintain the position of the tip of the nose as much as possible.
Here is a question that often arises for patients. Is post-surgery adhesive holding the tip of the nose high?
Raising the tip of the nose is usually due to manipulation of the lower nasal cartilage as well as the middle cartilage of the nose in the midline, and the tip of the nose will rotate upwards if the surgeon performs this manipulation during the operation..
The purpose of gluing is primarily to reduce the amount of swelling in the nose and then to reduce the distance between the skin and the manipulated lower skeleton..
